New Provincial Superior for the Brothers of Charity
After extensive consultation with all the brothers of Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, and England), Bro. Luc Van Dyck was appointed Provincial Superior.
New novices in Nairobi
Nairobi, Kenya – 25 February 2023. In a modest yet meaningful ceremony, 31 young men started their novitiate at the International Novitiate of the Brothers of Charity in Nairobi.
In memoriam Brother Waldebert Devestel
Rome, 28 December 2022 – On the day the Congregation commemorates its foundation, Bro. Waldebert Devestel, the previous Superior General, left this world to enter the eternal love of God.
Perpetual professions in Bukavu

Election of a new general assistant
Rome, 9 September 2022 – On the occasion of the meeting of the provincial and regional superiors with the General Council in Rome, Bro. Joel Ponsaran was chosen as the new general assistant, replacing Bro. Godfried Bekaert who died last March.
