After extensive consultation with all the brothers of Europe (Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, and England), Bro. Luc Van Dyck was appointed Provincial Superior.
During his mission within the Congregation, Bro. Luc has fulfilled various assignments.
After his studies and graduation from the Catholic University of Leuven, he initially worked at the Congregation’s private normal school in Zwijnaarde, Ghent. Simultaneously, he also undertook teaching assignments at the Higher Institute of Religious Studies in Ghent, as well as at the Higher Institute of Education, also in Ghent.
Subsequently, he assumed the role of general director in Bonneville and Casteau, after which he returned to the field of education as the general director of the Saint Victor school campus in Turnhout. Once retired, he was appointed as a council member in the Regional Council (Belgium).
He regards the cultivation of unity and fraternal understanding, as well as the support of religious depth, as the most crucial aspects of his mission for this administrative term. Therefore, he also relies on the full and motivated cooperation of all confreres and collaborators in the oldest province of our Congregation (since 1807).
