Ndera, Rwanda. On Saturday 5 March 2016, 40 novices made their first profession. These novices hail from 8 different African countries and have completed their two-year training at the novitiates of Nairobi and Ndera.
Superior General Brother René Stockman led the profession ceremony. The celebration of the Eucharist was presided over by the archbishop of Kigali and the bishop of Kabgayi. The newly professed brothers will now return to their respective regions to commence their pastoral activities.
Bro. Vedaste Hakizimana from Rwanda made his perpetual profession.
On Sunday 6 March, Bro. Celestin Kalunga and Bro. Adelin Bampendubwenge made their perpetual profession in Ngozi, Burundi. Bro. Patrick Maloba and Bro. Alex Mpundu will do the same in Nairobi on Thursday 10 March.
We sincerely welcome these brothers to the Congregation and we pray for their perseverance in their religious devotion.
