Tagaytay, Philippines. On Saturday 3 March, 17 young men from Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and DR Congo began their novitiate with the Brothers of Charity.

Johannesburg, South Africa – 19 January 2018. In the early morning, Bro. Constantino Kaunda, Regional Superior of the Saint Paul region, and Bro. Antoine Colpaert, Regional Bursar and Superior of the Florida community, lost their lives in a terrible accident in Johannesburg on their way from the airport to the convent in Florida. The Congregation lost two very valuable members in these two brothers.

On 10 October 2017, World Mental Health Day, the Dr. Guislain Museum and Janssen Research & Development, LLC named Dr. Sotheara Chhim the 2017 winner of the Dr. Guislain “Breaking the Chains of Stigma” Award. The award honors Dr. Chhim for his extraordinary efforts developing mental health services in Cambodia through scientific therapeutic approaches.
On 10 October, World Mental Health Day, Bro. Stockman received a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ at the Burundi Embassy on behalf of the Congregation.
