Kigali, Rwanda. On Friday 22 February 2019, 28 novices professed their first vows in Kigali, and 6 brothers professed their perpetual vows in the Congregation of the Brothers of Charity.
The celebration of the Eucharist was led by the new archbishop of Kigali, HE Mgr. Antoine Kambanda, and the professions were received by Bro. René Stockman, Superior General of the Brothers of Charity.
The new brothers are from Rwanda, Burundi, Congo, Tanzania, Namibia, Central African Republic, and Ethiopia.
Brothers Claver Sindambiwe, Jean Paul Nshimiyimana, Jean-Bosco Ndabakuranye, Michel Nyirumuheto, and Jean-Baptiste Hakizimana from Rwanda, and Brother Hilarius John Lomando from Tanzania professed their perpetual vows.
The Congregation is delighted about this new life, and we offer these brothers a warm welcome.
